As the breed warden for a small breed club, I received word that one of our club’s dogs had been surrendered to Pat. I contacted him immediately to offer a network of connections to help get the dog placed into an appropriate home. Pat worked with me through the entire process and with full transparency. In the end, the dog ended up back with the breeder (on the other side of the country!), which was the best possible outcome for all involved. Throughout the whole experience of working with Pat, it was clear that his top priority was to put the dog’s needs first. He truly operates Gun Dogz Rescue from his heart. It’s unfortunate when a dog has to be surrendered, but working with Pat gave me confidence that the dog was going to come out of the experience in a much better situation.
