Talk about coming across something you thought was too good to be true! I was dead set on adopting a rescue dog, and my husband was zoned in on owning a hunting dog. By the grace of God, I came across Gundogz Rescue online. Pat was amazing and reached out immediately to find out more about us and matched us with the perfect dog for us, Scout! The fosters who had Scout have gone above and beyond in our adoption process as they held on to Scout a little longer while we wrapped up our honeymoon and have been just a phone call away to answer all of our questions! Scout has his work cut out for him – he is my husband’s first ever dog and I have done nothing but rave about how life-changing owning a dog is. We are only two weeks in and Scout seems to be up for the challenge though. He has brought so much happiness to our lives and it isn’t even bird season yet! Scout and all of the Gundogz people involved in our adoption have been nothing but a blessing that we will never forget.
